LAKE SAINT LOUIS, Mo.—Locally-owned restaurant BC’s Kitchen located in The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis has been named St. Louis Magazine’s Best of the Best New Restaurants of 2009.  The magazine’s October 2009 issue includes 15 area restaurants in its Best New Restaurants feature.   “The Best” award is an exclusive recognition given to a single restaurant whose cuisine, service and atmosphere exceeds all contenders. 

Bill Cardwell, owner of BC’s Kitchen and Cardwell’s at The Plaza, in partnership with Executive Chef John Kennealy, opened the restaurant in August of 2008 with the intention of creating a warm atmosphere where guests can gather to enjoy exceptional cuisine with friends and family.   They attribute the success of their restaurant to the satisfaction of their patrons and the experiences they share.

The atmosphere of BC’s Kitchen is comfortable, yet sophisticated with natural tones of wood and stone throughout the restaurant.  The menu boasts only the finest ingredients and uses locally-grown produce and meats that are some of the best this great country has to offer.  Daily menu specials complement Chef Bill Cardwell’s signature dishes including the Kentucky Hot Brown, BC’s Jumbo Gumbo and Southern Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes on Sundays.
