The Meadows Celebrates Spring with
2nd Annual Hop To The Meadows Festival
 

LAKE SAINT LOUIS, MO. – The Easter Bunny will once again be hopping to The Meadows on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 11-1pm for The 2nd Annual Hop To The Meadows Festival.  This family-fun event will feature treats from The Meadows stores, face painting, music, a balloon artist, arts & crafts and The Meadows Easter Egg Hunt, rain or shine.  The event will also have complimentary pictures with the Easter Bunny.  Hop To The Meadows is free and all are welcome to attend. 
 
“Spring is such a beautiful time of year at The Meadows with the trees blossoming and flowers blooming,” says Marketing Director Bridget Geiss.  “A family-fun festival to celebrate this time of year is the perfect way to welcome spring.”
 
This year The Meadows Egg Hunt will feature over 5,000 Easter eggs.  Easter Egg Hunt times are as follows: children 5 and under begin at 11:15 am, 5-7 years begin at 11:30 am and children over 8 begin at 11:45 am.  Following the egg hunts children can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny in a beautiful spring setting provided by SummerWinds Garden Center in Lake Saint Louis.  Guests are also invited to go store-to-store with their baskets for treats and enjoy the festivities of the event. 
   
The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis is an open-air retail shopping center with over 30 retail stores and restaurants located at Highway 40 and Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.  Von Maur Department Store is currently under construction and will be opening their first Missouri store at The Meadows in September 2010.  The Meadows is owned, leased and managed by Davis Street Land Company in partnership with local real estate developer Bruce Johnston.
