"Taste of Lake Saint Louis” to Showcase Culinary Flair Amid Shopping and Music
LAKE
SAINT LOUIS, MO. – Grab your fork and get ready! “Taste of Lake Saint
Louis” will premiere Saturday, August 23, at the grand opening for The
Meadows at Lake Saint Louis lifestyle center, located at I-64 and Lake
Saint Louis Boulevard. Davis Street Land Company will sponsor the 5:30
p.m. to 8:30 p.m. food-fest, offering patrons palette-pleasers prepared
by nearly a dozen area restaurants at a nominal price.
Bill
Cardwell and the chefs at Lake Forest Country Club will be among the
culinary giants headlining the event. Cardwell will showcase many items
to be available at his first restaurant in St. Charles County, BC’s
Kitchen, at The Meadows. The new restaurant will feature such signature
Cardwell’s dishes as smoked shrimp and calamari along with the
reinvented classics of Cobb Salad and the Kentucky Hot Brown. Other
area restaurateurs also have been invited to feature menu favorites.

tasting the culinary array, diners will be able to enjoy the natural
beauty of the shopping enclave and family entertainment marking the
grand opening. The day-long festivities will include music by both
Groovethang and Twist & Shout, a hot air balloon glow and a
fireworks finale at 9 p.m.
